At the Plan ₿ Forum 2026 in Lugano, on 23 and 24 October, every kiosk runs on Fluent, an AI operations system: menus, payments, stock and the team in one place, live data from every stand, and Fluent AI suggesting the next move for the organiser to approve. See it at our booth on the first floor of Villa Ciani.
Key takeaways
- The Plan ₿ Forum 2026 runs on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October in Lugano, at the Palazzo dei Congressi, Villa Ciani and the former Asilo Ciani.

- Our booth is on the first floor of Villa Ciani, with live demos of Fluent AI on local and general models.
What is the Plan ₿ Forum 2026?
The Plan ₿ Forum is the bitcoin conference organised by the City of Lugano as part of Lugano's Plan ₿, the programme the city launched in 2022 with Tether. The 2026 edition takes place on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October.
The two days spread across three venues by Lake Lugano: the Palazzo dei Congressi, Villa Ciani and the former Asilo Ciani. The programme mixes keynotes, panels and workshops with exhibition space for startups and sponsors. The full agenda, the speakers and tickets are on the official Plan ₿ Forum page (opens in a new tab).
A two-day conference with crowds moving between talks also means queues at lunch, coffee between sessions and evenings that run late. That is where the kiosks, and the system behind them, come in.
Why is running an event on Fluent different?
Most events run on a pile of separate tills, a spreadsheet for stock and a group chat for everything else. The organiser finds out what went wrong at the end of the day, when the reports finally add up.
Fluent turns that around with three things working together:
- One system. Every kiosk sells, takes payments, tracks stock and plans shifts in the same place, so there is one set of numbers.
- Live data. Every sale reaches the organiser's view as it happens, from every stand at once.
- An AI that acts with you. Fluent AI watches those numbers, spots where the pressure is building and prepares the response, for the organiser to approve.
That is what we mean by an AI operations system: not a till with reports, but a system that helps you run the event while it is happening.
What does Fluent run at the Forum?
Fluent runs the Forum's kiosks. Each stand sells from its own menu on a screen, takes payments, records every sale and keeps track of its own stock, all in the same system.
Fluent is a web app, so a kiosk needs a tablet or a phone with a browser, not a dedicated till. Payments go through Fluent's payment partners, and each sale updates the stand's stock as it happens. The team's shifts sit in the same place, so the organiser knows who is working where.
For the people behind the counter, it is simply a fast till. The difference shows one level up, where Fluent Events brings every kiosk together.
What does the organiser see, live?
The organiser sees every kiosk in one view: how fast each one is selling, how much stock it has left and who is on shift. The point is to see which stand needs attention first, before a queue builds or a product runs out.

There is no waiting for numbers from each stand at the end of the day. The organiser works from live figures, and can ask Fluent AI in plain words which kiosk was busiest at lunchtime or which product is close to selling out, with the numbers behind every answer.
How does Fluent AI suggest the next move?
Fluent AI turns the live data into concrete suggestions, each with the evidence behind it and an action ready to approve. Nothing moves until the organiser says yes.
Suggestions of this kind look like this (illustrative examples, not live Forum data):
- Stock: "Kiosk B will run out of sparkling water in about 40 minutes at this pace. Kiosk D has enough cover: move two crates?"
- Team: "The queue at kiosk A is the longest right now. Move one person from kiosk C until the afternoon sessions start?"
- Menu: "The vegetarian option sold out at two kiosks. Show the alternative first on the other menus?"
Fluent AI is also designed to bring in outside context next to your numbers, such as the weather, so a forecast of rain can mean more stock for the indoor stands before the crowd moves inside. The organiser checks the quantities, the people and what stays behind, then approves, changes or ignores each suggestion.
Why run an event on one system instead of separate tills?
One system means one set of numbers. When every stand uses its own till, the organiser ends each day merging reports by hand, and problems show up only once they have already cost sales.
With every kiosk on Fluent, sales, payments and stock add up on their own. The end-of-day picture is ready when the last stand closes, and the lessons for tomorrow, such as which product ran out first or which stand needed more people, come from real data rather than memory.
There is one honest requirement: Fluent needs an internet connection. At any event, plan a reliable network for every kiosk and a backup, such as a mobile hotspot.
Is Fluent only for events?
No. The Forum is a showcase of one product, Fluent Events, but the same AI operations system runs a whole local business.
Restaurants and cafés, shops, bakeries and food labs, salons and barbershops all work on the same foundation: sales, stock, customers and team in one place, live numbers, and Fluent AI preparing the next step, such as a supplier order draft, a shift plan or a reply to a customer, for you to approve. See all the Fluent products to find yours.
What will you see at our booth in Villa Ciani?
At our booth on the first floor of Villa Ciani, you can see the system behind the Forum's kiosks and try the rest of Fluent for yourself.
- Fluent Events, live. The organiser's view and Fluent AI's suggestions, from a sale at a kiosk to an approved stock transfer.
- Fluent AI with local and general models. Some tasks run on AI models on the device itself, others on the most advanced general models. Either way, Fluent AI shows its evidence and nothing goes out until you approve it.
- Your own business. One system for restaurants, shops, bakeries, salons and events, with your data stored in Switzerland. Read how we handle it on our trust and security page.
Bring your own questions, whether you run a café in Lugano or a festival anywhere in Europe. We'll see you at Villa Ciani.

Frequently asked questions
When and where is the Plan ₿ Forum 2026?
The Plan ₿ Forum 2026 takes place in Lugano, Switzerland, on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October 2026. The conference runs across the Palazzo dei Congressi, Villa Ciani and the former Asilo Ciani. Programme, speakers and tickets are on the official Plan ₿ website of the City of Lugano.
Where is the Fluent booth at the Plan ₿ Forum?
You'll find Fluent on the first floor of Villa Ciani during the Forum. Come by to see the AI operations system the kiosks run on, try Fluent AI with local and general models, and ask us anything about running your own business on one system.
Is Fluent only for events?
No. Fluent is one system to run a local business, with Fluent AI across it: restaurants and cafés, shops, bakeries and food labs, salons and barbershops, and events. Each business gets the same idea as the Forum: everything in one place, live numbers and an AI that prepares the next step for you to approve.
Does Fluent work without an internet connection?
No. Fluent is a web app and needs a connection, so plan a reliable network for every kiosk and a backup, such as a mobile hotspot. The upside is that every sale, payment and stock change reaches the organiser's view and Fluent AI as it happens, not at the end of the day.
